Eleventh week("open-source")
There are many resistances in digital media. What is "resistance"? It means to oppose the strategies of "The Prince". It is being all social field. Disturbance is very important word, which is related to resistance.
There are some example of "electric disturbance". They are named virus, trojan horse, worm, bomb, back door.
What is virus? The virus is a term in biological field, acturally. However it is a cracker program in this filed. It is often attached to some program. Then, when the program is excuted, virus is excuted, too. It is not worm. It cannot infect other computher without assistance.
What is trojan horse? It is a program designed to break security or demage a system that is disguised as something else benign, such as a directory lister, archiver, a game, or (in one notorious 1990 case on the Mac) a program to find and destroy viruses!
What is worm? It is a program that propagates itself over a network, reproducing itself as it goes. In fact, Morris invented it, at 1988 to know size of networks.
What is bomb? It is a code surreptitiously inserted in an application or OS that causes it to perform some destructive or security-compromising activity whenever specified conditions are met. For example, when one company send design files to another company at dealings, they install the bomb to these files. Then anonther company cannot use these files, continueslly without the dealings.
Finally, what is back door? This is a hole in the security of a system deliberately left in place by designers or maintainers.
There are many open-source programs, likes Linux, Apache.

My opinion
Open-source is so interesting, because users are develoopers or designers of the programs, also. When I was in high-school, I used a PMP. Some functions and visual designs of it are open-source. Thus I did download many funny skin for my PMP. In that time, I was so fun. Thus I think "Open-source" gives some funny, enjoying, happieness to users. As a result of users can use some products during long times, interestinglly.
Then, I could know many concepts of virus, troy horse, bomb, backdoor, worm in this class. Maybe, I will study them easyily, when I learn to subjects realated to networks.
